Westwood FFA Chapter

The Westwood FFA Chapter is an active agricultural leadership organization located at Westwood High School in Mesa, Arizona, operating as part of the Arizona FFA Association's Superstition Region. The chapter keeps students busy year-round with hands-on learning, community events, and state competitions.

Recent Chapter Highlights:

  • State Competitions: Chapter members regularly compete in Career Development Events (CDEs) and Leadership Development Events (LDEs) at the University of Arizona and State Leadership Conferences.
  • Community Education: The chapter was recently awarded a historic 1957 John Deere 320 tractor by the Arizona Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association to promote agricultural literacy.
  • Local Fundraisers: They host dining events at local businesses—such as Raising Cane's at Mesa Riverview—to raise funds for student opportunities.
  • Alumni Network: The chapter is supported by an active Alumni and Booster group that holds regular meetings for parents, former students, and community supporters.



About the Donation

Westwood FFA has been awarded a 1957 John Deere 320 tractor from the Arizona Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association!

The tractor will be used as an educational tool and historical symbol to engage the community, promote agricultural literacy, and highlight the importance of agriculture in everyday life.

FFA students are excited to showcase the tractor at events and use it to inspire the next generation about agriculture’s vital role in our community.
