Bluegrass Festival **See revised date!

  • 01/08/2022
  • Pinal County Fairgrounds

When: Saturday, January 8, 2022; 9 am to 3 pm or come when you can, leave when you must.

Where: Pinal County Fairgrounds, better known as 11 mile corner, why you ask? Because it’s 11 miles to Casa Grande, 11 miles to Coolidge and 11 miles to Eloy.

The Blue Grass Festival is being held there on Saturday and Sunday. In the past they have had live music, classic car show, a large building full of vendors selling everything from Tupperware to Solar Panels and food vendors selling enough “State Fair” type food to clog your arteries.

Ray Gatz will bring our pull sled out and set up a tractor pull in the arena. You can bring out your tractor and pull as many times as you’d like. You can try 1st gear, then 2nd gear then 3rd gear, (you get the point) You can teach your Grandkids how to pull. Or let your wife pull, if she has fun, you might be able to buy another tractor.

At noon the club will provide pizza, chips, soft drinks, bottled water and cookies for dessert.

The engine guys are also welcome and have participated in the past.

Chuck and Karen Cure brought out their trailer full of Farm and Home appliances, gadgets and labor saving gizmos from 100 years ago. Most of them are cordless. That display is worth the price of admission by itself, however if you bring an engine or tractor you get in free anyway.

The tractor pull will only be on Saturday, however, they have encouraged us to leave some tractors on static display on Sunday.

For more Information call Phil Frandsen at (480) 410-1914.

Hope to see you there!
